Journey of a SEO Reseller : Act I

Being busy at work, I think it would be best to talk about my work, rather than not writing anything at all.

-

For almost a year now, I have been working on a company that deals with Search Engine Optimization, it has been my most interesting job so far; from browsing around without restrictions, writing stuff with creative freedom, etc. Working on a day-shift and having weekends off, my social life isn't damaged at all, I still can go to parties, attend events, cosplay, shop around, eat with two of my good friends, and have fun at the arcade.

Other than that, my bosses was really motivational they wants us to strive to be big in this industry, knowing that this is a high-reward industry. True, the reason I got in this job was because of the opportunity ahead of me in this kind of work. Analysts are paid huge, even the PPC Specialists, and that gave me the push to be better.

Who doesn't want to bag a lot of cash doing this anyways?

Showers: How do you enter one?

Earlier, while I'm rummaging around my saved images, trying to look for a material to talk about with my friends, I found this image from a bunch of funny Kim Jong-Il and North Korea images (Yes, my image folder isn't organized by genre or when is the best time to use it). Just by looking at the image above, it made me ask myself a question on how do I really enter the showers.

Answering the image provided, I am the mixture of the lower-left and the upper-right. I usually try out the water first if it is warm enough or cold enough (depends on the weather) for me to go in, with the temperature under control, I'll turn off the water, remembering how many twists I made on each valve. I'll enter the shower hardcore style, turning on the valve precisely as done before.

Now, how do you enter your shower?

Sauce Finding for Dummies

(Source : Anonymous @ 4chan.org)
Back in the days of being a newbie on various imageboards, I don't even had an idea on how to find for source for the images that was posted. All I thought that, only Google is enough to find all of them. All I could do is to ask the poster on the source of the image, and sometimes he/she doesn't know. And it all ends on the thread getting 404'd.

After learning other user's methods in finding their sauce, my searching has been made easier and faster, and with the guide being posted to everyone to see, they wouldn't feel the dilemma I've faced (Well, they might experience it longer, if their ignorance got stuck in their head).

Justin Bieber Assaulted a 12-Year Old Kid : The Reaction

As having my usual rounds on various social networking sites and *chans, an acquaintance of mine has shared this image to me. Being a bit apathetic about Justin Bieber and his music career, I tried to grab a little bit of interest and read about the news.

It has been stated that; Justin Bieber got into trouble while he's playing at the laser tag centre in Richmond, B.C. last Friday. He was kicked out after a 12-year-old boy told the staff that he was hit by Bieber, also at the game, he was being the prime target of everyone during the game. Due to that, he was being investigated for assault involving that boy whom suffered minimal injuries.

My reaction to that would be, anyone and everyone will get vexed whenever he/she gets picked on by everybody for no reason. But if you're Justin Bieber, it's justified, it's normal that he's going to get a lot of heat.

Trading Card Games and The King of Fighters

(Left: KoF 2002UM promo pic | Right: Kyokugen Karate Team)

A few months ago at a certain convention, a friend of mine has given these two cards to me since he knows that I like The King of Fighters franchise. It was pretty awesome, since I don't have a lot of KoF-related merchandise other than images at my hard drive. Being grateful to the gift, I stashed it into my card case.

When I got home, I started to look into the details of the card and saw that they are from a trading card game known as Weiss Schwarz (or Weiß Schwarz) which is has various characters/cards from different animé and video games. Just like other TCGs, strategy is king.

Having stopped playing Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic The Gathering (and TCGs altogether), my primary excitement for this will be collecting the KoF cards from this card game.

I just hope my friend has a lot of them to give out, I'd kill for an Elisabeth Blanctorche card if there is one.

Flush with your hand, not with your foot.

(This was taken at the toilet of our building)

One of my pet peeves are touching the flush handle of a public toilet. You'll never know if someone else peed on it, smeared it with crap while taking a dump, or used his foot when flushing.

Some of you might say that I can use a toilet paper or wash my hand afterwards, but for me, that is not the case, growing up in an environment where people pees everywhere for no reason made me totally paranoid.

But as a compromise, I'll use my knee in flushing it.
